Description of Butia archeri

A small palm with a small, often recumbent, sometimes rampant trunk (it will reach a maximum of 1 metre). Its long, slender, arching, silvery green palms have short smooth petioles.

How to grow Butia archeri

Place it in full sun, or under a bigger palm. It can withstand some drought.

It was named after the American botanist ARCHER (early 20th century).
