Cheilocostus speciosus
BCS
The crepe ginger, better known under its former name Costus speciosus, is surprisingly hardy (-12 to -15°C) despite its tropical origins. Its exceptionally white, crepe-like flowering and spiral foliage are easily recognizable, and give it a very graphic appearance. To be discovered! Available in 4-litre pots, 80 cm/1 m in September, very strong subjects.
